does anybody have any experience with these cute creatures in thailand? are they ok in a common fish tank with other species?

I have some that have been living in my warm (32 C.) planted tank for over a year now.  They co-exist with small fish very well.  Trade name in Thailand for this shrimp is Kung Yamato.
